| Showbiz stars take part in anti-Israel protests |
Many well-known showbiz stars also took part in demonstrations in Lahore and Islamabad to show solidarity with the Palestinians against Israeli airstrikes.
Fawad Khan and his wife Sadaf Fawad, Haniya Amir, party fame Dannirmbin, Usman Khalid Butt, Maryam Nafees, producer filmmaker Amara Hikmat and other well-known personalities participated in the demonstration by collecting placards written in support of Palestinians.
In addition to the protests in Pakistan, actress Armine Rana Khan, who is in England, expressed solidarity with the Palestinians in Manchester, where candles were lit in memory of innocent children.
"Our hearts were saddened, but in a peaceful ceremony, Muslims, Hindus and Christians came together to speak out in favor of the Palestinians," Armine wrote on social networking site Twitter.
