The shadow of the Kaaba will disappear for a while on Thursday

On Thursday, May 27, at 12:18 a.m., the sun will be visible just above the Ka'ba, during which the shadow of God's house will not fall on the earth for a while.

According to Al-Arabiya.net, the head of the Astronomical Association, Dr. Majid Abu Zahiri, says that the Sun appears above the Kaaba because the Kaaba is located between the equator and the orbit of Cancer.

As the sun rotates, it moves from the equator to the orbit of Cancer in the month of May, and as it rotates, the Sun rises above the Ka'ba.

Majid Abu Zahiri said that when the sun is seen above the Ka'ba, it is at its highest altitude of about 90 degrees and this is the moment when the shadow of the Ka'ba disappears.

He said that the people of Arab countries, Africa, Europe, China, Russia and East Asia, which are the neighbors of the North Pole, can determine the direction of Qibla by looking at the sun above the Kaaba.

Abu Zahiri added that the ancient people used to determine the direction of the Qibla in the same simple way and that method is no less than the latest technology in terms of results.
