Israeli hints at halting war in Gaza |
After two weeks of bombings and airstrikes on Palestine, the Israeli government has signaled a halt to the war.
According to the International News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government has warned the Egyptian government to suspend hostilities. The final announcement regarding the ceasefire will be made after the meeting.
It should be noted that a ceasefire was also demanded in today's UN General Assembly session. 232 Palestinians have been martyred and hundreds injured in Israeli attacks so far. More than 40,000 people have been displaced due to the attacks.
